MBN / SEKADAU, West Kalimantan Regional Police – Residents of Sungai Putat Hamlet, Sungai Ringin Village, Sekadau Hilir District, Sekadau Regency, appreciate the distribution of clean water that has been carried out again in their area in the middle of the dry season.
The clean water aid was distributed on Thursday (August 13, 2026) at around 2:00 PM WIB. This was the second distribution to residents of Sungai Putat Hamlet in recent days, as the community continues to feel the need for clean water.
The Community Police Officer of Sungai Ringin Village, Bripka Joy Dananta Ginting, along with the Village Head of Sungai Ringin, Sulisnan, and officers from the Sekadau Regency Fire Department, took part in the activity.
Bripka Joy said that the distribution of clean water was carried out to help residents meet their daily needs during the dry season.
“The distribution of clean water is a collaboration and cooperation between the Sekadau Police, the Sekadau Fire Department and the Sirin Meragun Water Company,” said Bripka Joy, Friday (14/8).
A fire truck belonging to the Sekadau Regency Fire Department was used to deliver clean water to Sungai Putat Hamlet. Residents then brought their own containers to hold the distributed water.
Residents welcomed the aid. They came to collect water for their daily needs, especially amidst the dry season, which has made it difficult for some to access clean water.
According to Bripka Joy, the Sekadau Hilir Police together with the Sungai Ringin Village Government and related agencies will continue to monitor residents’ needs during the dry season.
“We hope this distributed water can help meet the daily needs of residents, especially those who still have difficulty accessing clean water,” he concluded.
