
MBN / Sambas – In order to strengthen synergy and togetherness with the community, members of the 1208/Sambas Military District Command held a joint viewing (nobar) of the 2026 World Cup matches with residents at Warkop Nonong, in the fostered area, Sunday (05/07/26) early morning.

The joint viewing was enthusiastically attended by members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and members of the public from various backgrounds. A friendly atmosphere was evident throughout the match, reflecting the harmonious relationship between regional officials and inmates.
Through this activity, Kodim 1208/Sambas not only provides entertainment for the community but also strengthens social communication and reinforces the unity of the TNI with the people. Moments of togetherness like this are an effective way to build a sense of unity, solidarity, and national spirit within the community.
In addition to enjoying the 2026 World Cup round of 16 matches, participants also took the opportunity to strengthen ties and discuss various matters related to security and environmental order.
In a separate location, the Commander of the 1208/Sambas Military District, Lieutenant Colonel Dwiyanto Kusumo, M.A.P., stated that the joint viewing activity is a form of the TNI’s humanistic approach to the community. It is hoped that through this simple yet meaningful activity, the good relationship between the TNI and the community will continue to be maintained, thus creating a safe, comfortable, and conducive environment. The 2026 World Cup itself continues to attract global attention as it enters the knockout phase, presenting increasingly fierce competition.
